The Andersons wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope you find peace and good cheer this season.
Preparations for the next legislative session have been taking place with a new class of members set to be sworn into office when we convene Jan. 5. There are still are many questions regarding exactly how day-to-day business will be handled in the coming year and also uncertainty regarding many of the issues themselves.
A column I submitted to area newspapers this week touches on the subject of how, during what is supposed to be a festive time of year, the pandemic and resulting business shutdowns have left us concerned about the future. Check local publications or click here for the full text.
As personnel matters are settled regarding House committees, it recently was announced I will serve as the lead House Republican on the Agriculture Finance and Policy Committee. It is an honor to serve in this position as I do my best to make sure this area’s voice is heard.
