ST. PAUL – State Rep. Paul Anderson, R-Starbuck, announces the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority has approved the city of Murdock for more than $1 million in state financing to improve its drinking water infrastructure.
The project consists of constructing a new drinking water treatment facility for the removal of iron, manganese, and radon. A $1,133,000 Water Infrastructure Fund Drinking Water Grant will help complete the work.
“Good news for the city of Murdock, as they have been awarded this million-dollar grant by the Minnesota Public Finance Authority,” Anderson said. “This will go a long way in allowing for the construction of a new drinking water treatment facility for the city. Congratulations to all those involved in successfully applying for this grant so work on this important project can take place to benefit people in Murdock.”
