SAINT PAUL, MN— On Thursday, House Republicans in the State Government Finance Committee launched a website to gather comments and feedback from Minnesota families, taxpayers and small business owners affected by MNsure. Minnesotans testified before their committee yesterday about the difficulties they have faced with our state's health care exchange. The most recent concerns revolve around the thousands of Minnesotans who are waiting on their 1095-A form to file their taxes, an issue that MNsure has promised to finally resolve by the end of this week.
"MNsure is failing Minnesotans, and residents should have a place to voice their concerns,” said Rep. Peggy Scott, R-Andover. “We need to look for ways to drastically reform MNsure, but, in the meantime, we must give our constituents somewhere to make their concerns heard.”
The new website can be found at http://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/cmte/comment and is also linked on the House State Government Finance Committee page. Minnesotans are encouraged to share their personal experiences with MNsure on the website.
