Dear Neighbors,
I wanted to make you aware of an event taking place at the Anoka-Hennepin School District in a couple weeks. The school invites parents and guardians to view the Genderbread Training Video that was shown to all district teachers.
This is important for parents to watch because it shows how teachers are now instructed to lead our students on a number of gender-related issues. From what I understand, according to this video, teachers can’t address students as “boys” and “girls”, and can’t tell students which restrooms to choose.
It’s possible that these new strategies don’t impact you and your family, but I know many parents around the district would want to know this is being taught in schools. If you’re interested in attending, the details are:
