ST. PAUL, MN – On Friday, Legislative leaders announced an agreement on a bill that provides $825 million in tax relief over the next three years. Included in the bill are a number of provisions that will provide relief for small business owners, recent college graduates, military veterans, and middle-class families across Minnesota.
“Folks in our area, and across the state, need this proposed tax relief,” said Rep. Peggy Scott, R-Andover. “Small business owners, recent college grads, and military veterans will see a reduction in their taxes from our bill.”
Each chamber must approve the agreement before the legislative session adjourns on Monday, May 23.
