Dear Neighbors,
This Monday is Memorial Day—a time for our nation to come together and remember the servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in giving their lives to protect the freedoms we hold dear.
John 15:13 says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Our fallen men and women had great love for our nation and its people. We owe them a great deal of gratitude.
Please make sure to keep the families of our fallen heroes in your thoughts and prayers this weekend as we honor their sacrifice and courage.
I will be attending a Memorial Day pancake feed tomorrow morning in Henning and would love to see you there. The event begins at 7:30 am and all proceeds go to the Henning Military Park.
