Greetings,
Today marks the 73rd anniversary of the first invasion on the beaches of Normandy, better known as D-Day.
The Normandy landings were a major turning point during World War II, driving the United States and the Allied Forces one step closer to defeating the Nazis. Hundreds of thousands of Americans died during these invasions; their commitment to their country is unsurpassed.
Join me today in remembering those brave soldiers who put their patriotism over their own wellbeing in hopes to defeat tyranny in Europe.
