Dear Neighbors,
I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and joyous Christmas season. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or just enjoy this time of year, I hope you feel the spirit of the season and the joy that it brings.
I look forward to spending Christmas with my family, and hope you are able to spend quality time with your loved ones as well. I am blessed in so many ways, and it is a true privilege to represent a community like ours at the Capitol. For that and more, I am thankful!
Also, the Christmas season is a time to remember those less fortunate than ourselves. That is why last week, I put together a drive to collect blankets and outerwear for the homeless, as well as food for our local food shelf to help families in need this Christmas season. We collected so many items, and I appreciate everyone who took the time to help volunteer or donate items. You are what makes our community a great place to live and raise a family! My volunteers and I are excited to grow this event next year. Truly, this was an amazing event.
You can learn more about the drive in a short video here. Also, as we remember those in need, I encourage you to donate your time and make a difference this Christmas season.
So once again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. I wish you a blessed Christmas and a wonderful 2018. Jesus truly is the reason for the season.
I am thankful to represent the best!
Sincerely,
Mary
