Dear Neighbors,
Greetings from the Capitol!
Today is World Down Syndrome Day and I wanted to send out a quick email on this topic. World Down Syndrome Day is a global day of awareness and advocacy which takes place every year on March 21.
On World Down Syndrome Day, we are reminded of the simple truth that all human life is valuable and precious. This is an important day for advocates all around the world to raise awareness, and promote the many significant contributions people with Down syndrome make to their communities on a daily basis. Going forward, it’s important that we continue to provide opportunities and enable people with Down syndrome to continue positively impacting our society.
I’ll check in with additional legislative news again on Friday. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or thoughts on any issue.
I represent the best!
