Dear Friends and Neighbors,
With Christmas almost here, I wanted to take a minute to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas! I am looking forward to spending Christmas with my family, and I hope you have the opportunity to visit and spend time with your loved ones as well.
With the busyness that the Christmas season brings, it is easy to forget the true reason we celebrate – the birth of Christ. This time of year, I encourage you to make some time for Him and reflect on what is most important to you.
The Christmas season is also a time to remember those less fortunate than ourselves. Earlier this month, I put together a clothing and food drive to collect items to share with people in need in the community and Alexandria area. We collected so many items, and I appreciate everyone who took the time to help volunteer or donate. I am thrilled by the turnout and glad we were able to spread our blessings and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. After two years of successful events, volunteers and I are excited to grow this event again next year.
Without Christ there would be no Christmas. So once again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. I wish you a blessed Christmas and a wonderful 2019.
I truly represent the best!
Sincerely,
