Dear Neighbors,
Today marks the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Normandy during World War II.
The Normandy beach landings were a clear turning point in the war, bringing the United States and the rest of the Allied Forces ever closer to victory against the hate and evil of the Nazis. Thousands of Americans died during the invasion, and the world witnessed unparalleled heroism and commitment to the ideals of freedom and liberty.
Please join me today in honoring those brave soldiers who, without regard to their own safety, stormed the beaches of Normandy so that others may be free. May we never forget the courage and heroism it took to run towards danger in defense of the good in the world.
Sincerely,
