ST. PAUL – On Friday, May 16, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed House File 2490 – a bill that included provision authored by Rep. Mary Franson (R-Alexandria) for economic development in Alexandria.
“Working in a bipartisan way, I was able to secure the necessary funding for the redevelopment project on the property of Jefferson High School in Alexandria,” said Franson. “This legislation will make Alexandria a leader in our state for job growth, innovation, healthcare services, and education for a generation and beyond. Because of this project, Minnesotans from across the state will look at our community as a world-class destination for technical education, workforce training, manufacturing, and economic development.”
