Reps. Fabian and Kiel Welcome Feedback from Minnesotans Affected By High Health Care Costs, Capped Plans, Technical Difficulties or Other Problems Related to Health Care Exchange
SAINT PAUL, MINN— With open enrollment beginning November 1, House Republicans are relaunching a website to gather comments and feedback from Minnesotans experiencing issues with MNsure. Examples of difficulties Minnesotans may share include concerns over skyrocketing health care costs, limited access to plans because of new enrollment caps, long wait times or other technical problems related to the website or call center.
Representative Deb Kiel (R-Crookston) and Representative Dan Fabian (R-Roseau) welcome input from constituents in their districts.
“Greater Minnesota has been left behind by MNsure with double-digit premium increases and fewer choices for families, farmers and small businesses,” said Rep. Kiel. “I know folks are frustrated, and that’s why we are continuing to work on meaningful solutions to address our state’s health care crisis. Your feedback would be invaluable as we work to fix this MNsure mess.”
“House Republicans have been adamantly working to fix MNsure since it was first implemented, and as premiums continue to skyrocket, we are committed to making health care more affordable and ensuring folks have access to the doctors and specialists they want and need,” said Rep. Fabian. “I hope people will share their thoughts and personal experiences on the MNsure comment site so we can better understand the wide array of difficulties Minnesotans are facing.”
Representatives Fabian and Kiel also added that their offices are available to help should constituents need assistance.
The MNsure comment website can be found at http://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/cmte/comment and is also linked on the House State Government Finance Committee page. Minnesotans are encouraged to share their personal experiences with MNsure on the website.
