Roseau, MINN—A recent survey by Wallet Hub of the nation’s best community colleges ranked Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls and East Grand Forks fifth in the nation. Rankings were based on a number of factors including education outcomes, career outcomes, affordability, and more.
“Congratulations to NCTC on this fantastic accomplishment! Northwest Minnesota is extremely fortunate to have strong colleges like NCTC that offer outstanding educational opportunities right here in our own community. They are doing a great job educating students and preparing them for great careers,” said Rep. Dan Fabian, R-Roseau. “Well done!”
“To be nationally-recognized as a top five community college is a remarkable accomplishment, and the NCTC faculty, leadership, students and community should be incredibly proud,” said Rep. Kiel. “It’s clear that NCTC is providing great post-secondary opportunities for students, and as a legislator I will continue to support them and all of our fantastic area colleges and universities.”
Reps. Fabian & Kiel plan to draft and present a resolution to NCTC for their national ranking and recognition.
