ST. PAUL, MN – House Speaker Kurt Daudt, R-Crown, announced Tuesday, November 22, 2016 that Rep. Tim O’Driscoll, R-Sartell, will serve as House Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Policy Committee for the 2017-2018 legislative sessions.
O’Driscoll has served on the Government Operations and Elections Policy Committee since arriving in the House in 2011.
“I’m honored to accept the appointment as chair to this committee and know its subject matter of this committee well,” said O'Driscoll.
Prior to being elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives, O’Driscoll was a council member and mayor of the city of Sartell.
The House Government Operations and Elections Policy Committee has policy jurisdiction over state and local government structure and policy matters as well as election policy matters over various election laws in the state.
