ST. PAUL – On January 3, State Representative Joe Schomacker (R-Luverne) took the oath of office to serve as State Representative for District 21A, which includes communities in Rock, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Lincoln and Cottonwood counties.
“I’m humbled by the opportunity to once again serve the people of southwestern Minnesota, and I am grateful once again to represent their interests,” Schomacker said.
Schomacker recently received his Minnesota House committee assignments. In addition to serving as the Republican Lead on the Health Finance and Policy Committee, he will also serve on the Ways and Means and Economic Development Finance and Policy committees over the next two years.
