GHENT – State Rep. Chris Swedzinski, R-Ghent, has scheduled a town hall meeting to discuss issues related to child care. Providers and all other interested parties from the area are invited to attend.
The event will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Marshall YMCA (200 S. A St.).
“We face a wide variety of child care issues in our state, ranging from affordability to a lack of providers, concerns over state reimbursement rates, regulatory hurdles and beyond,” Swedzinski said. “I scheduled this meeting to allow providers and families a chance to share their thoughts and ideas on how we can do child care better in Minnesota. The information from this meeting will be very helpful as we work on solutions at the Capitol.”
