Legislative update re: town halls scheduled in 16A

Friday, January 3, 2020

Dear Neighbor,

Hope you had a great holiday season and 2020 is off to a good start. Preparation for the new legislative session is ramping up as we get ready to convene Feb. 11 at the Capitol in St. Paul.

As part of our session prep, Sen. Dahms and I are conducting a series of town hall meetings this coming Tuesday (Jan. 7) and invite District 16A residents to attend. The meetings will allow Sen. Dahms and me to receive input from constituents on a wide variety of subjects as well as share some of our thoughts on the big challenges in 2020.

Here is the schedule:

  • Marshall ~ 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. sponsored by the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce at the YMCA, 200 South A Street.
  • Canby ~ 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, City Administrative Office Building, 110 Oscar Ave. N.
  • Madison ~ 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the City Hall Auditorium, 404 – 6th Ave. N.
  • Dawson ~ 1 – 2 p.m. at the City Building, 675 Chestnut St.
  • Granite Falls ~ 3 – 4 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 641 Prentice St.

These meetings are great opportunities for us to discuss on any number of top state issues and I hope you can attend. No RSVPs are necessary, so feel free to bring friends and family. Please call my legislative office at (651) 296-5374 if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Chris
