St. Paul – The League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) recently named Representative Chris Swedzinski (R-Ghent) a 2014 Legislator of Distinction.
LMC chose Rep. Swedzinski for his work on behalf of Minnesota cities during the 2014 legislative session. He chief-authored 17 bills over the 2013-14 sessions including legislation for the cities of Marshall, Canby and Dawson.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by the League of Minnesota Cities for my work at the Capitol,” said Rep. Swedzinski. “My goal is to represent the people and priorities of District 16A, and I am dedicated to passing legislation that helps our community. I will continue to work with cities, counties and citizens to meet our district’s unique needs and ensure state government is working for southwestern Minnesota.”
The League of Minnesota Cities named 19 members of the Minnesota House of Representatives and 12 members of the Minnesota Senate as 2014 Legislators of Distinction.
