SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Today, Rep. Ami Wazlawik (DFL – White Bear Township), Rep. Peter Fischer (DFL – Maplewood), and Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn (DFL – Roseville) urged Legislative Auditor Jim Nobles to look into a series of violations that occurred at the Water Gremlin plant in White Bear Township and how they were handled.
“Our community deserves to know what happened at the Water Gremlin facility. Our goal is not to point fingers, but to find answers for residents and Water Gremlin employees who have lived in fear and uncertainty for many months and information that will help us work collectively to ensure that nothing like this ever happens again. We will continue working with community members and local and state officials to protect the health and well-being of Minnesotans.”
This afternoon Rep. Becker-Finn, Rep. Fischer, and Rep. Wazlawik sent Legislative Auditor Nobles a letter asking him to provide an update on the status of the Special Investigation on Water Gremlin. The letter can be viewed here.
