SAINT PAUL, Minn. — On Sunday, Governor Tim Walz delivered his 2020 State of the State address. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he delivered the speech via video from the Governor’s Residence.
Rep. Peter Fischer (DFL – Maplewood) issued the following statement:
“I am thankful for Governor Walz’s measured and steadfast leadership. During his address, Governor Walz encouraged Minnesotans to remain hopeful and united while acknowledging the seriousness of this pandemic. He highlighted several examples of people coming together to help each other, including the White Bear Lake hockey community. These are difficult times, and there’s more work for all of us to do, but I am confident that Minnesotans will meet these challenges with resilience and compassion.”
