Dear neighbors,
I’m writing to encourage you to attend a community meeting this week about how we can address Minnesota’s transportation needs.
The meeting takes place this Thursday, December 12 from 4:00 – 6:00pm at Century College (3300 Century Avenue North) in Room 2315.
Minnesota Department of Transportation Commissioner Charlie Zelle and Metropolitan Council Chair Sue Haigh will lead a discussion about transportation, how it affects our quality of life, its link to Minnesota’s economy, and the importance of investing in this state asset. They will also be joined by MnDOT officials to take feedback and answer your questions.
I also encourage you to fill out a short survey available at www.metrotransit.org/sip to share your thoughts and feedback about our region’s transit needs.
