St. Paul, MN – Representative Brian Johnson (R-Cambridge) continues to support Minnesota’s firefighters through his words and actions. Johnson, a volunteer firefighter voted in favor Thursday of HF 2746, the Hometown Heroes Program.

They all deserve to be cared for and supported in any way we can.”
HF 2746 would provide funding for firefighters suffering from critical illnesses. The bill would give firefighters up to $20,000 to help with treatment and other associated costs.
The bill passed in the House with a vote of 120-14.
