St. Paul – Brian Johnson (R-Cambridge) was officially sworn in as a state representative on Tuesday, January 6, in St. Paul after taking the oath of office administered by Chief Justice Lori Gildea. This is his second term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
“Serving the folks of Chisago and Isanti Counties is a great privilege, and I look forward to representing their priorities in Saint Paul over the next two years,” said Rep. Johnson. “More exciting still, with a Republican majority in the House, the legislature will be passing balanced, fiscally responsible bills that fund our priorities and benefit people across Minnesota—not just the folks in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.”
For the next two years, Johnson will serve on the following committees: Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance, Civil Law and Data Practices, Greater Minnesota Economic and Workforce Development Policy, and Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy.
