Dear Neighbors,
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Even if you’re not Irish, tomorrow is still a fun time to get together with friends and family. Have fun, and be safe! Also, I am sending this update a bit early so that I can keep you abreast of some events coming this week and weekend.
First of all, I met with Cassandra Fruechte and Ammelia Weidenbach of the Boys and Girls Club in Little Falls.
The Boys and Girls Club does a wonderful job with our youth and they are invaluable to many kids who need a safe, secure place to meet friends, do homework, or just fit in. I also wanted to plug their fundraiser tomorrow at the Great River Regional Arts Building.
The event is from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 17. There will be live music and a silent auction. If you need a place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, consider this important event.
Also, this weekend I will be traveling around meeting people. Below is my Town Hall Schedule.
Town Hall Schedule
You may have seen the announcement in your local paper, but I wanted to pass along a schedule for five town hall meetings I’m hosting this Saturday, March 19. Each event is free and open to the public. I hope you’ll come and share your opinion on the current legislative session, and ways we can improve our state and area.
