Friends,
I hope you are staying warm on this Friday. This week, session started and kept me busy. I introduced legislation to improve the water system in Swanville and fund the Minnesota Military Museum at Camp Ripley. This museum is one way honor the service of our veterans and allow civilians a chance to show our appreciation.
This week, I am excited for the I.C.E. Fest. This is the annual Sunny Zwilling Memorial Ice Carousel Extravaganza. It’s an excellent family-friendly event and benefits wonderful causes-Flyer Pride Pack and Kare Kloset. Both help children who need assistance with food and basic needs.
On a more serious note, I want to encourage our community to come out to the Brian Lange Benefit Breakfast on Sunday. Former Fire Captain, Brian Lange passed away in December. Our first responders are the first ones we need to support and when we have an opportunity to help out a fallen firefighter's family, we must do it.
I want to remind you that I host in-district meetings on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Those interested in scheduling a meeting with me should call my office at 651-296-4247 or email Rep.Ron.Kresha@house.mn.
As always, it is my pleasure serving you and do not hesitate to reach out if I can help
