ST. PAUL, MN — Representative Ron Kresha, R-Little Falls, is making sure the needs of Swanville are met. His legislation for Swanville water improvement projects will be heard in the Capital Investment Committee hearing on Thursday. The bill provides more than $3 million in Public Facilities Authority funding for Swanville water improvement systems, allowing the city to design, construct, engineer and equip capital improvements to the city's drinking water system. “I’m excited for this legislation to continue through the legislative process. The Twin Cities always seem to get the state’s financial resources, leaving other communities out to dry. It is my hope we can soon celebrate the coming improvements to Swanville’s water system,” Kresha said. Thursday’s hearing will be an informational hearing.
