St. Paul, MN – Minnesota constituents want to be certain of election integrity and Representative Ron Kresha, R- Little Falls, is committed to protecting Minnesotans and their election process.
That is why he is one of the co-authors of HF 4790. This bill, if passed, would modify current voting processes by requiring an identification to cast a ballot. Additionally, if a voter can provide identification along with proof of residency, they will be able to register to vote on the day of an election.
“We have seen what happens when voter security is not preserved,” Kresha said. “It is time we secure one of the most important rights we have as Americans and ensure our ballots are counted correctly and with integrity.”
The bill is currently in the State Government Finance and Elections Committee for review.
