Rep. Kresha urges Local Projects Inclusion in this Year’s Bonding Tour.
Little Falls. MN – Representative Ron Kresha (R – Little Falls) has sent a formal request for two local projects to be included on the 2023/24 Capital Investment bonding tour. This tour happens every two years and is a chance for members of the committee to evaluate potential projects to receive funds from in the next bonding bill.
These local projects are a rail-grade separation in Little Falls as well as a Minnesota Veterans Trail. An expansion to our great Minnesota trails system would bring more outdoor activities to our community and provide access to the beautiful natural resources our state provides.
“This tour is an important part of the process of making sure infrastructure across the state is being well taken care of,” said Rep. Kresha on the projects he hopes to get included in the tour. “I look forward to sharing the beauty of our district when the members of the capitol investment committee embark on their statewide tour later this year.”
The Capitol Investment Committee will begin touring projects later this summer and fall as they begin work on the next bonding bill that will likely be introduced in the 2024 legislative session.
