Dear Friends,
With Thanksgiving on Thursday, I wanted to send you my thanks and deep gratitude for trusting me to serve our community at the state legislature. It's a privilege and responsibility I take seriously, and I will continue to work hard each day on your behalf during my second term, focusing on issues important in our community like improving quality and access to long-term care for seniors, expanding broadband technology to underserved parts of the state, and improving education for Minnesota students. I'm here to serve you, and hope you will keep in touch by calling me at 651-296-4247 or emailing me at rep.ron.kresha@house.mn.
Committee assignments will be made in the coming weeks, and I will be sure to update you once the assignments are handed down. The 2015 legislative session begins on January 06. With Republicans taking control of the Minnesota House, I'm looking forward to working with my colleagues on putting forward solutions—not just rhetoric—to the problems facing our state. The 2015 session should be an entertaining one.
Thanksgiving is a time to remember all that we have to be thankful for. I hope you'll take a few moments to reflect on the blessings in your life—family, friends, the wonderful community and state that we live in, and much, much more—this Thanksgiving weekend. From my family to yours, I wish you a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving.
All the best,
Ron Kresha
State Representative, District 09B
