ST. PAUL, MN—Rep. Ron Kresha, R-Little Falls, will serve as Vice Chair of the Education Finance Committee, Speaker-designate Kurt Daudt announced Wednesday. Kresha, who begins his second term in January and was elected Assistant Majority Leader earlier this week, served on the Education Policy Committee during the 2013-2014 session. Rep. Jenifer Loon, R-Eden Prairie, will serve as the Education Finance Committee Chair.
"Improving our education system for Minnesota students is at the top of the priority list for members on both sides of the aisle," Kresha said. "The status-quo isn't cutting it for too many students, and I'm looking forward to working with my colleagues on ways to address the challenges we face and work to give students, teachers, and parents the tools they need to succeed."

The 2015 Legislative Session will begin on January 06, 2015.
