Dear Neighbor,
Like many of you, I am appalled by recent videos coming to light discussing how Planned Parenthood is selling organs and body parts of aborted babies for profit. That's why it was great to see 4,500 people show up at a Pro-Life rally at the Planned Parenthood on Saturday, August 22nd. Thank you to everyone who took the time from Wright County to come down to Saint Paul and show their support for life!
During the rally, I spoke about why the Pro-Life movement is so incredibly personal for me. I held my precious 18 month old baby as she took her last breath and as her heart beat for its last time. Her death changed me. That was the day that I understood just how incredibly precious all life is.
I also shared with the crowd that while a mother and child may walk into this place of horrors, only the mother walks back out. This is a place of death, this is a place of greed, and this is a place where sex traffickers come to fix their broken property. I am proud that so many showed up on Saturday to say enough is enough, and that all lives matter.
In all, a dozen state legislators spoke at the event, including my brother Rep. Brian Daniels, and it was great to see so much enthusiasm in the crowd, a united group standing up for the rights of the unborn.
We are united in calling upon Governor Dayton to launch an investigation in to the allegations, despite having a lieutenant governor who is a former Vice President for Planned Parenthood in MN, ND and SD. The governor needs to do what is best for ALL Minnesotans, not just those in his administration. I believe that with new videos surfacing about the immoral practices taking place at Planned Parenthood, now more than ever is the time to launch a full investigation into their organization.

As this controversy continues and more videos are released, I would also like to encourage you to contact Governor Dayton and Lt. Governor Smith asking them to put ALL Minnesotans first and launch an investigation into Planned Parenthood at 651-201-3400 or mn.gov/governor.
