Rep. Marion O’Neill to Serve on Committees that Serve Veterans, Grow Good-Paying Jobs, and Work to Improve Public Safety
Saint Paul, MINN— On Tuesday, December 20, 2016, House Republicans unveiled committee assignments for the 2017-2018 legislative sessions. Representative Marion O’Neill (R-Maple Lake) was named to five committees: Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance, Job Growth & Energy Affordability Policy and Finance, Veterans Affairs, Civil Law & Data Practices, and Rules & Legislative Administration. O'Neill will also serve as an Alternate member of the House Ethics Committee.
“I look forward to getting back to work in January, addressing issues important to families and taxpayers in Wright County,” said Rep. O’Neill. “From growing good-paying jobs to improving community safety, these committees will work on key legislation over the next two years, and I expect to pass a number of meaningful bills that work for the people and priorities of our state.”
The legislative session is set to begin January 3, 2017.
