ST. PAUL – Representative Marion O’Neill, R-Maple Lake, was sworn in Tuesday for her sixth term as the State Representative for House District 29B. O’Neill, a former small-business owner, has worked extensively on higher education, public safety issues and justice for victims of sexual assault.
“It is truly an honor that the people of District 29B have entrusted me with another term as their State Representative,” said O’Neill. “This session, I look forward to working hard on behalf of the priorities of the people of our community, and I hope to hear directly from the people of District 29B about their priorities and concerns during this upcoming year.”
O’Neill was also named to four House committees: Higher Education Finance and Policy, Rules and Legislative Administration, Ways and Means, and Climate and Energy Finance and Policy. She was named the Republican Lead member for the Higher Education Finance Policy Committee.
