Last week, a colleague of mine had a medical emergency here in St. Paul. Fortunately, we were able to identify the problem quickly and get her the medical attention she needed.
In the video below, I discuss the warning signs to look for if someone you know may be having a stroke. Public awareness is so important on this and could save your life or the life of someone you love.
My bill to provide grant funding to help communities around the state purchase radios for emergency services personnel was heard in the House Public Safety Committee yesterday. Thank you to everyone for your support!

Stacey Karles, Monarch Heights Administrator testified to a bill that would raise the rates Monarch Heights would receive to provide care to their residents.
