Dear Neighbors,
Our rural nursing homes need help! Tell Gov. Walz to support our nursing homes and make sure they have the funding they need to provide excellent care to our communities.
That's why it was so good to see dozens of rural nursing home providers and administrators come to St. Paul this week to rally in support of the outstanding care they provide seniors in our area.

We also received news this week that Gov. Walz and his family will be spending $17,000 a month of taxpayer money on renting a palatial lakeside mansion in Sunfish Lake while his Summit Avenue residence is being remolded.
$17,000 a month is beyond excessive and further proof that Gov. Walz and the administration do not respect your tax dollars.

A huge thank you to all the local folks that took time to visit St. Paul this week! It's always great to chat about the issues that are most important to you.
Specifically, I'd like to thank local nursing home administrators and workers from Browns Valley, Fergus Falls, Morris, Hoffman, and Starbuck that came to the capitol today to advocate for increased funding for our rural nursing homes.
