ST. PAUL – State Representative Jeff Backer, R-Browns Valley, co-vice chair of the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR), is encouraging local organizations to apply for funding from Minnesota’s Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund (ENRTF). Approximately $90 million from the lottery-generated fund is available for projects that aim to protect, conserve, preserve, and enhance Minnesota's air, water, land, fish, wildlife, and other natural resources.
“The LCCMR does amazing work providing funding for a variety of projects that protect and maintain Minnesota’s rich and abundant natural resources,” said Backer. “I strongly encourage local organizations with projects that may qualify for this funding to apply during this new round of requests for proposals (RFPs).”
Organizations are encouraged to visit www.lccmrprojectmgmt.leg.mn to learn more and to apply. Final proposals must be submitted online by March 27th at 4:30 PM.
