Dear Neighbors,
Budget targets were recently agreed upon by Gov. Walz and House/Senate Democrats, revealing that they plan to spend at least an additional $512.5 million this year.
Despite raising taxes by nearly $10 billion, Minnesota is still on the verge of a budget deficit thanks to Democrats growing spending by 40% last year and blowing through a historic budget surplus.
This proposed increase ignores warnings from Republicans and state economists to be cautious with any new spending and to get our finances in order to help prepare for the forthcoming deficit.

Thanks to the local residents who took time to visit me in St. Paul this week to discuss the issues that matter most to them.
