Dear Neighbors,
As we head into the holiday weekend, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and best wishes for the New Year. We are truly blessed to live in this great state, and for the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with family, friends, and loved ones.
Like many of you, we can’t be with family and loved ones as usual. We all want this horrible pandemic to end, but let’s just take a deep breath and look around at what we do have. My Parents have self-quarantined for several months but are doing great. I miss them so much! I missed seeing my siblings and nieces/nephews last weekend due to precautions.
Mary and I are very grateful for Olivia and Alex, and their exciting lives ahead. We are also grateful to have had our wonderful son Dan with us for 25 years and we miss him more than ever during the holidays. He was always the first one up every Christmas morning! We loved that.
I also encourage you to help those in need this holiday season if you are able. Many of our friends, families, and neighbors are struggling this year because of the pandemic.
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year,
Dave
