ST. PAUL, MN –State Rep. Dave Baker, R-Willmar, was recently elected by his colleagues to serve as an Assistant Minority Leader for the House Republican Caucus in the upcoming 2023-2024 legislative sessions.
“I am honored by the trust and confidence my colleagues have placed in me to serve on our leadership team,” said Baker. “Looking forward, I plan to work hard on constructive solutions to the problems facing Minnesotans, their families, and our communities.”
In addition to his election to the House Republican leadership team, Baker was also appointed by House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth, R-Cold Spring, to serve as the Republican-lead on the Workforce Development Finance Committee.
“As a small business owner, I know firsthand the challenges facing businesses and workers in Kandiyohi County and around the state,” said Baker. “I will use this experience to guide me in this role as we look to help businesses and employees thrive.”
