ST. PAUL, MN – On Wednesday, Rep. Peggy Bennett, R-Albert Lea, honored the Alden-Conger Supermileage team for winning the Shell Eco-Marathon in the Urban Concept division at the national competition in Detroit. The team now heads to London to compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon Europe. Rep. Bennett and the Minnesota House of Representatives honored the team with a House Resolution and a standing ovation from all members.
“I’m extremely proud of the Alden-Conger Supermileage team, and all they’ve accomplished so far,” said Bennett. “These young engineers represent the future innovators and leaders in technology. I’d like to thank the team for joining me in St. Paul to honor their first-place award.”
