STATE REPRESENTATIVE PEGGY BENNETT TAKES OATH OF OFFICE

ST. PAUL – On January 14, State Representative Peggy Bennett (R-Albert Lea) took the oath of office to serve as state representative for Minnesota House District 23A, which includes communities in Faribault, Freeborn, Waseca, and Steele counties. 

 

“It’s such an honor to represent the people of southern Minnesota, and I am very much looking forward to serving them,” Bennett said. 

 

Minnesota House committee assignments were recently released. Bennett will serve as the chair of the Education Policy Committee and in addition will serve on the Education Finance Committee and Veterans and Military Affairs Division over the next two years.
