Dear Neighbors,
On Wednesday, I joined thousands of Minnesotans on the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol to peacefully protest our state and nation’s abortion laws. I am amazed by the number of people that were willing to brave the cold to make sure that their voices were heard.
For those of you that know me, you know that I am a strong supporter of the pro-life movement and will continue to advocate for the rights of the unborn from conception to natural death.
Survey Opportunity
The Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI), in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Region Nine Development Commission and FoodOps, is conducting a survey to identify food and beverage manufacturing trends to support growth in these and related sectors. The goal of the survey is to generate information about impactful opportunities, which can be shared to help create an increased economic impact for the entire state.
They are looking for the small and medium sized entrepreneurs to take the survey and help develop the next steps to bringing innovative ideas to a broader market.

As an organization, AURI leverages science and technology to help develop new uses for agricultural products. They often collaborate with businesses and entrepreneurs to generate economic impact in Minnesota communities by helping them take advantage of opportunities in four focus areas: biobased products, renewable energy, coproducts and food.
They've had some success stories over the years including championing the use of soybeans and other biobased road sealants.
