ST. PAUL - Rep. Jon Koznick (R-Lakeville) is proud to report good news from the Capitol for local Dakota County Technical College.
“Dakota County Technical College has much to celebrate from the 2015 legislative session,” said Koznick. “Along with a greater focus on making higher education affordable to all students, we invested in our local colleges to promote and strengthen programs that produce the next generation of dedicated Minnesota jobs and workers. Dakota County Technical College has long been a leader with their Transportation program, training students to safely and competently operate a wide variety of vehicles in every condition. Thank you to my legislative colleagues for recognizing the importance of this program, and for investing in the renovation of current facilities by including $7 million in the bonding bill to complete the final phase of the Transportation and Emerging Technologies Renovation Project. The project is designed to help eliminate Minnesota’s job skills gap, while improving the state’s economy.”
