LAKEVILLE, MN – On Wednesday, Rep. Jon Koznick, R-Lakeville, joined a number of local officials for the Argonne Hills groundbreaking ceremony. Argonne Hills is a 55+, independent living facility which is part of Dakota County’s Community Development Agency’s (CDA) Senior Housing Program. With a growing aging population in the state, the Minnesota Legislature has placed a priority on caring for seniors.
"From the state level to our local government in Dakota County, we’re committed to providing the best housing, workforce, and care options for our aging population,” said Koznick. “Earlier this year, I partnered with the Dakota County Community Development Agency to pass a bill into law to give some of our residents more of a voice on the CDA housing board. The bill added a spot on the board for a CDA housing resident to help advise the board. I’m proud to support the CDA, as well as the groundbreaking of Argonne Hills; a place where Lakeville seniors will find affordable, independent living opportunities for years to come. We should honor our seniors and continue to welcome and celebrate them as active members of Lakeville.”
