ST. PAUL, MN — Rep. Jon Koznick (R-Lakeville) announced today that he has accepted an invitation to serve as a member of the Advisory Board for the Transportation Policy and Economic Competitive Program at the University of Minnesota.
“It is an honor and privilege to be asked to serve Lakeville and the state of Minnesota in this important advisory role,” said Rep. Koznick. “All Minnesotans should benefit from an efficient and productive transportation system that gives them the opportunity to provide for themselves and their families. I look forward to getting to work and to learn more about these issues through this new opportunity.”
Rep. Koznick is the former Vice Chair of the House Transportation Policy Committee and has emerged as a leading voice in the legislature on issues related to transportation policy during his time as a state representative.
As a member of the Advisory Board, Rep. Koznick will be expected to attend meetings to provide direction to program activities, learn about ongoing transportation research, and shape overall goals and strategies. The TPEC is an initiative of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota that performs research, outreach, and education around transportation and its connection to economic competitiveness.
