St. Paul, MN—State Representative Jon Koznick, R-Lakeville, issued the following statement after House File 3085 was approved by the House Public Safety Committee today. The committee adopted an author’s amendment that incorporated numerous components of House File 3740, authored by Rep. Koznick.
“Today’s vote is an important step forward to improve safety and security at Metro Transit. Security will remain an important transit priority and short term solutions were just not going to cut it.” said Rep. Koznick. “I look forward to working with the Senate majority to iron out the details as we strive towards ensuring a better transit rider experience for all Minnesotans.”
