St. Paul, MN—State Representative Jon Koznick, R-Lakeville, was recognized for his public service last evening at the 2023 Latino Business Awards. The awards are sponsored by the Minnesota Latino Chamber of Commerce and showcase a wide array of successful Latinos in business who have earned recognition for their hard work and contributions to the local Latino community.
“It was an honor to win this award and to be recognized for my work in the Latino business community during my time in public service and a wonderful way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month as well,” said Koznick. “Small, local businesses are the backbone of our communities and are an outstanding force in providing goods, services, and jobs for Minnesotans. It is important that we continue to do what we can to support all entrepreneurs and make sure that Minnesota remains open for business and for anyone willing to do the hard work, take on the risk, and pursue the American dream. Latinos and Latino businesses are integral to the economy of the state, especially in a number of growing Hispanic communities.”
The Latino economy in Minnesota is estimated at $10 Billion with 12,000 Latino businesses. An awards ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 17th where recipients were recognized for their work in the community.
