ST. PAUL – State Rep. Jon Koznick (R-Lakeville) issued the following statement on the Road and Bridge Act of 2015:
“I’ve heard transportation concerns from many residents in my district and across the state. The Road and Bridge Act of 2015, introduced today by the Republican majority, is a ten-year, $7 billion road and bridge plan that addresses these concerns without raising taxes,” said Koznick. “The act also includes my bill, HF710, which allocates all of the revenue from the Motor Vehicle Lease sales tax into two funds – the Greater Minnesota Bus Services Account and the Suburban County Highway Account. My bill delivers on $70 million of transportation infrastructure – including nearly $12 million for our county alone. I’m proud to have my bill included among so many great proposals that will improve transportation infrastructure statewide.”
