SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The 2023 Minnesota legislative session convened yesterday at noon in Saint Paul. Rep. Cheryl Youakim (DFL – Hopkins) took the oath of office to begin her fifth term in the Minnesota House.
“I am so very honored to be serving our communities of Hopkins, Edina, and St. Louis Park in the Minnesota House of Representatives,” said Rep. Youakim. “Ready to get to work toward a better Minnesota for everyone!
This session, Rep. Youakim was appointed as the chair of the Education Finance committee, while serving on the Ways and Means, Taxes, and Education Policy committees.
